Week 10 (Part 1)

I can't believe its week 10!  I guess time flies when you are having the time of your life.  My Mom arrived this week!!!!! I have never been away from her for this long in my entire life and I've missed her so incredibly much.  She arrived early monday morning, with a serious case of jet lag… so what do we do? take a walk down to one of my favorite little coffee joints in town! The Bumble Cafe :)

Mekila and her mother took us out on our first adventure to Lamington National Park!  What a day! From Alpaca Farms to Tree top views to Kangaroos and King Parrots! 

And no, we didn't get spit on.. thankfully

Time for a tree top walk!

So proud of her for getting up to the top with me, even though it was pretty sketchy.

The view was worth the climb.

Had to take some selfies at the top of course.

Its all fun and games until the bird tries to land on your head…. 

so done with the bird feeding after that one.
