Hello everyone!

My Name is Alison VanDerHeyden
I have created this blog to show everyone at home what I will be doing while studying in Australia! I want to keep you all updated on all the adventures I will be partaking in during my time down under!  I will try to post pictures and stories on this blog every week while abroad.














I am currently finishing up the paper work process for studying at Griffith University in Gold coast Australia.  The City of Gold Coast is located on the East coast of Australia an Hour and twenty minute plane ride to Sydney and a two hour plane ride to Cairns.  I am set to leave on the 16th of July! and will be in Australia until the middle of December. My friend Mekila, lives 30 minutes from where I am studying, so I won't be far from at least one familiar face while I am away.
I will be 14 hours ahead of everyone on the East coast of the United states so communication will be difficult, but I will try to stay in touch with everyone as best as I can!
